Wilkinson to play for U-Mary
Gabrielle Wilkinson signed a letter of intent on Thursday, November 14 to play basketball at the University of Mary for the next school year. Wilkinson played with the New Town Eagles the last three basketball seasons. Gabrielle helped her team win the District 15 championship and Region 8 Championship in both 2012 and 2013 respectively. With the New Town Eagles, Gabrielle was a participant in the North Dakota State Class B Girls Basketball Tournament. The Eagles earned 8th place in 2012 and 7th place in 2013. Gabrielle was listed 15th in scoring leaders and 1st in assist leaders in the 2013 class B state tournament. Gabrielle averaged 15.5 points per game last season with a field goal percentage of 53%.
