Wildfire basketball team takes the bronze
The WILDFIRE Basketball Team took the Bronze medal in the 19U girls division at the 2013 Jim Thorpe Native Games in Oklahoma City, Okla., on June 10 - 14th.
They played Meskwaki Hoop Queens from Iowa, Cheyenne Arapaho from Wyoming, BOB from Oklahoma & Sicangu from South Dakota in the Pool B and were undefeated 4 -0 going into the Championship Tournament. They lost their first game in the tourney in overtime by two points to the Bball Divas from Nebraska, Florida & South Dakota.
