Parshall’s Lady Braves put up good fight against Stanley Jays

The opening round of the Region 8 Volleyball Tournament saw high competition Monday. Many of the scores were close as each team fought to advance. The Lady Braves of Parshall were no exception, as they went up against the Stanley Jays in the last match for the night.
The Braves came into the game knowing what they were up against, having previously lost to the Jays in the beginning of October.
“We have to play well and not let up on the gas. We have to come out strong and stay strong throughout the entire game,” said Coach Rebecca Kollman.
The Braves warmed up in the first game with some long volleys. The Braves dished back about all the Jay’s could chew, but eventually lost the first match 25 to 14.
