NHSC Storm double up on National Championships

The Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College congratulates the Storm and Lady Storm on their national basketball championships at the American Indian Higher Education Consortium, National Basketball tournament. The Championship games were hosted at Northwest Indian College in Bellingham, Washington.

The Lady Storm’s final game was played against the Aaniiih Nakoda College Lady Eagles, winning with a score of 72 to 41. They successfully defended their Div. I National Championship for the second year in a row. They are coached by Clinton Wolf, who also serves as NHSC’s Athletic Director.

The NHSC Storm men’s team clinched the Div. II championship, defeating Chief Dull Knife College with a final score of 125 to 102. This is their first year as National Champions, and Head Coach Tim Olsen’s first year at the helm.
