Mandaree boxers to fight in Fargo

A trio of boxers who call Mandaree home will be battling in the undercard of a professional boxing match at the Fargo Civic Center on Dec. 13. The fight card will be headlined by an exhibition fight featuring North Dakota native, Olympic silver medalist and world light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion Virgil Hill.
Sonja Fox, of Mandaree, will take on Minnesota fighter Concha Daniels. Fox has a record of three wins and no losses with one knockout and one technical knockout. She will be joined on the card by her niece and nephew, Micaela Fox and Jacob Fox. Micaela Fox will be making her professional boxing debut against Kira Ollila. Jacob Fox has a record of two wins and three losses with one knockout.
