Froshaug qualifies for state
Hope Froshaug qualified for the North Dakota State Class B Girls Golf Tournament while leading the New Town-Parshall Eagles to the Northwest Conference Championship in Stanley.
Froshaug needed to beat a score of 87 to qualify for the state tournament to be held played in Hankinson at Dakota Winds Golf Course on May 29-30. She scored an 83 to take first place individual honors and earn a spot in the state tournament. Jasmyn Giese of Stanley scored 86 for second place and also qualified for the state tournament.
