Fort Berthold youth fishing derbies set
Two youth fishing derbies have been scheduled for July 8 and July 22 on the Fort Berthold Reservation.
On July 8, the derby will take place from 10 a.m. to noon with registration from 9-10 a.m. in Four Bears Park. It will include the western side of the reservation including Twin Buttes and Mandaree.
On July 22, the derby will be held in Four Bears Park and will include the communities of New Town, Parhsall and White Shield. Times will be the same. A meal will follow each derby.
Door prizes will be given for the derby conducted by the Three Affiliated Tribes and the Boys and Girls Clubs. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children.
