Fimbres, Moran are Endurance Champions

It was a blustery day Saturday for the competitors in the Endurance Challenge Races held by MHA Tourism at the Earth Lodge Village. Jayli Fimbres overcame a tough challenger at the end and Tony Moran dominated the three mile run to both earn top honors and $1,000 each.
The race was divided into three events, kayaking, archery and a three mile run. A strong wind whipped up whitecaps on Lake Sakakawea, so organizers Darian and Jason Morsette decided to alter the kayak course.
