Fast starts lead to Lady Eagles victories

The Lady Eagles used fast starts to rack up a pair of victories this week, beating the Lady Wolves of Watford City 68-57 and routing the Max Lady Cossacks 86-26.
Thursday’s game in Max had the Lady Eagles defense setting the tone early. By the end of the first quarter the Lady Eagles were firmly in charge 27-4. Max would average just 7 points a quarter for the rest of the game while the Lady Eagles averaged nearly 20 points a quarter. Baileigh Brady was the Lady Eagles top scorer with 21 points and Jaye Dawn Two Bears, Gabby Wilkinson, Jasmyne Big Crow and Mia Wilkinson all scored in double figures.
