Elementary students show their speed

Elementary students from New Town, Mandaree and White Shield showed their stuff Sept. 15 at the 10th annual New Town Elementary Cross Country Meet.
Plenty of fans and spectators braved the cool and windy conditions to cheer on the runners. Coach Arnie Grady said it was another successful competion.
Two future Eagles, D.J. Lebeau and Jayden Chase finished the fifth and sixth grade boy’s race in first and second place to keep the first place trophy in New Town for the fifth straight year. In the Girls Division, Manadree placed five runners in the top nine places to dominate the meet. Kaylee Robertson of Mandaree and Serene Wilkinson of White Shield finished first and second. Tyleigh Brady was third and Cerea Litte Soldier was fourth for the Eagles.
