By Jerry W. Kram
The New Town Eagles faced their rival the Parshall Braves and came away with a straght set victory.
The Eagles took the match with scores of 25-20, 25-16 and 25-20.
“Parshall is always our biggest rival so getting a win on them is great,” said Eagles Head Coach Dyan Fox. “We have a six game winning streak.”
The Braves kept the game close in the first set, staying within a point of the Eagles until the score was 10-8. The Eagles got some key hits from Tamara Fox and Tyleigh Brady to give the Eagles a cushion of five points at 18-13. The Braves managed a small run to make the set closer are 21-17, but the Eagles were able to score a couple of points and trade side outs to close out the set 25-20.
