Eagles thrive at Rugby meet

New Town Eagles Runners performed well at the cross country meet in Rugby on Saturday, October 5 with the boys team winning their event and Symbria Bell placing third in the girls division.

In the varsity girls’ division the Eagles finished in seventh place out of the 22 teams competing. Leading the way was Symbria Bell with a third place finish with her fastest time of the year, Taylor LeBeau 45th, Tyleigh Brady 47th, Ceara Little Soldier 71st, Ariana Bell 75th, and Jenna Williams 109th rounded out the finishes for the Eagles out of 124 total runners. Hailey Black competed in the junior high division and finished 15th out of the 42 runners.

The boys varsity finished first out of the 21 teams competing with Ryan Wheeling capturing first place, Scott Hale second place, Jalen Chase seventh place, Joe Baker eighth place, Chase Hale 10th place, Daniel LeBeau 12th place, Jaiven Hale 17th place, Isiah Hale 31st place, Mitchell Baker 47th place, and Ricardo Chase 75th place out of the 107 total runners.
