Eagles soar to new heights

The New Town Eagles showed talent, poise and solid teamwork in their game against Standing Rock last Saturday in a 76-31 rout over the Warriors.
The Eagles jumped out to a big lead in the first quarter highlighted by Khael DeCoteau sinking two long bombs from the corner as he piled up a big first half in scoring. DeCoteau had 8 of his 13 points in that first quarter alone.
Shooter Stewart worked hard inside the paint all through the game as he racked up a game-high 19 point. Jastyn Goodbird was in double figures as well with 10 points for New Town and right behind Goodbird was Brady Bratvold with 9 points in the game. The Eagles are now 11-6 on the season and Coach Chuck Hunter and assistant Darin Morsette were both proud of the team effort and that the players seem to be gelling at the right time.
Last Tuesday, the Eagles traveled to Trenton and fought to a much closer win but prevailed by the score of 49-43 over the Tigers. Coach Hunter was also
