Eagles runners set pace in Minot
Both the boys and girls New Town Eagles Cross Country teams had very good efforts at the Minot Invitational cross country meet on Friday, August 28th in Minot.
The girls’ team placed third out of the 14 teams competing with a score of 152. Minot won the meet with 22, followed by Southern McLean with 92, then the Eagles in third, Parshall fourth with 163, and Surrey fifth with 194.
Placing for the girls were Tyleigh Brady seventh, Marveen Ross 18th, Melayna Four Bear 23rd, Kirah Morsette 47th, and 57th. There were 84 runners in the varsity girls division.
