Eagles runners have fine week
On Tuesday, September 17, the Eagles competed in the Watford City meet. Taking first place overall in the girls’ varsity division was Symbria Bell, winning her second meet of the year. Placing 10th was Taylor LeBeau, 14th Ashley Hale, 25th Ariana Bell, 28th Jenna Williams, and Marissa Baker 29th. Running in the junior high division were Ceara Little Soldier 13th and Hailey Black 17th. Ryan Wheeling took first place overall in the boys’ varsity division, followed by Scott Hale 2nd, Joe Baker 5th, Chace Hale 6th, Daniel LeBeau 8th, Jaiven Hale 10th, Mitchell Baker 15th, and Isiah Hale 19th as the Eagles took the meet with a score of 22.
On Saturday, September 21, the Eagles traveled to Valley City for a very large meet attended by most teams in the state. In the girls’ varsity division Symbria Bell came in 9th overall and was the highest finishing Class B runner. Taylor LeBeau was 120th in a field of 147 runners. In the JV division, Ashley Hale finished in 27the place, Tyleigh Brady 38th, Ariana Bell 82nd, and Jenna Williams 133rd.
This was a very large race with most of the Class B varsity teams and all the Class A JV runners. In the junior high division, Ceara Little Soldier finished 36th and Jasmyn Dickens was 81st out of 100 runners.
