Eagles have tough week

Both the New Town Eagles boys and girls basketball teams had a tough week, dropping several games during the toughest stretch of their schedule.
The Lady Eagles record sits at 8-8 after losses to Heart River and Trenton on the road and to Shiloh Christian in New Town. The 11-4 Heart River Cougars edged the Eagles 57-54. Shiloh came to New Town and left with a 66-58 victory. The undefeated Trenton Tigers remained so after winning 75-47 and are like to retain their number ranking in the North Dakota Class B Coaches poll.
