Eagles excel in first meet
The New Town Eagles boys cross country team won the opening meet of the 2015 season in Jamestown and the girls team finished seventh out of 15 teams.
According to Eagles Head Coach Brian Anderson, the Eagles girls had a very good early season effort led by Tyleigh Brady finishing in 19th place. Melayna Four Bear followed with a 20th place finish, Kirah Morsette in 38th place and Ceara Little Soldier in 45th place. The girls finished in 7th place out of the 15 schools competing. Only two Class B teams finished ahead of the Lady Eagles, Shiloh Christian and Beulah-Hazen.
