Eagles excel at Hazen meet
The New Town Eagles middle distance runners once more showed their stuff at the Hazen Bison-Miner Classic held in Hazen on April 11.
In the boys’ division the Eagles finished in fourth place out of the 22 teams competing. Des Lacs Burlington Berthold won the meet with 105.5 followed byWatford City with 90, Dickinson Trinity 88, New Town 86, and Carrington 56 to complete the top 5 teams.
In the 800 meters, the Eagles swept the top 4 spots with Chace Hale first, Colby Antel second, Jalen Chase third, and Jaiven Hale fourth.
