Eagle boys take second place at Velva

Last Thursday, the Mouse River cross country meet was held in Velva. Ken Wells won his second meet of the year and improved his time by 30 seconds from his last race with a time of 16:14. Wells was the only runner that participated in the varsity meet and with four ghost runners, the Braves took sixth place overall.
“Kenny ran his best time of the year,” said Parshall Braves head coach Harlan Johnson. “Kenny improved and hopefully we will have more boys running for varsity as the season goes on.
