Braves triumph in “barn burner”

The ‘palace in Parshall’ was rocking last week in what was one of the most exciting games of the season when the Parshall Braves boys team came back from a 15-point deficit in the second half to defeat the Lewis and Clark Bombers by the score of 61-59.
Although led by the inside play of Jaden Christianson and Josh Hart who tossed in 22 and 16 points respectively, it was two clutch three-pointers in the final stages of the game by power forward Jesse Clausen that sealed the deal for the Braves.
The Braves had fought back in the first half from a double-digit deficit to come within two points (33-31) at halftime. The Braves played with intensity throughout the game, but the Bombers managed to build up their big lead after outscoring the hometown Braves in the third quarter 20-7.
