Braves thrill fans on home court

The Parshall basketball fans on hand for the Braves and Lady Braves got their money’s worth when the local teams played against some very good teams. The opener of the doubleheader was all Braves as they once again used their blazing speed and tough backcourt defense to ride to victory against the Garrison girls. The Lady Troopers could not muster any kind of offense against the blue and white clad girls from Parshall. Led by the defense, there were some nice offensive contributions across the team statistic sheet for Parshall.
The Braves jumped out to a 14-4 first quarter lead and increased their lead to 20 points by halftime as the teams went to the locker room with Parshall leading 29-9. The Lady Braves came out and played just as relentlessly and were leading 46-14 at the end of the third quarter. Parshall Coach Dusty Olson sat his starters down with seven minute left to go and the final score was Lady Braves 49 and Garrison 22.
