Athletes go for gold on the track

On Thursday, March 31, track teams participated in the Northwest Conference Indoor meet at the Minot State Dome.
In the boys’ division, the Eagles finished in second place behind Des Lacs Burlington Lewis and Clark. There were 13 teams in each division. The Eagles scored 82 points with only six runners able to compete. Parshall finished third with 37 points.
In the 1600 run, Ryan Wheeling finished first, Chace Hale second, Jaiven Hale third, and Robert White fifth. In the 800 run, Ryan Wheeling was first and Chace Hale second. The 3200 Relay finished in second place with Jaiven Hale, Seth Cummings, Ricardo Chase, and Robert White. In the 3200 run, Jaiven Hale was first, Robert White second, Seth Cummings third, and Ricardo Chase fifth. In the girls’ division, Tyleigh Brady was second in the 1600 and first in the 3200. Melayna Four Bear finished second in the 3200.
