New Town drops season opener
The New Town Eagles volleyball team opened the 2008 season on the road Aug. 28 in Underwood, dropping three straight sets to the Comets.
Underwood took an early lead and coasted to the wins of 25-10; 25-14 and 25-8.

New Town cross country takes first
New Town’s boys cross country team used the one-two punch of the Grinnell twins to win the varsity meet held in Bowman Aug. 28.
