New Town Eagles win district crown
The New Town Eagles scored victories over the Parshall Braves and Watford City Wolves to win the District 15 Boy Basketball Championship at the Northern Lights Community Center in New Town last weekend.
Eagles grapplers headed to state
The New Town/Parshall Wrestling Coop sent just six competitors to the Region III Individual Wrestling Tournament in Minot. But five of those wrestlers did well enough to qualify for the state tournament.
Eagles take three in district action
The New Town Eagles took a big step towards locking up the top seed in the District 15 boys basketball tournament with big wins over Parshall, Watford City and Mandaree this week. A nondistrict tilt against Tioga capped the week off, bringing their record for the season to 15-2.
