Water park completes expansion, opens

The Four Bears Water Park is now twice the fun with a new expansion to the facility. Tribal Chairman Mark N. Fox snipped the ribbon and scores of children and adults rushed by him to enjoy the water park last Friday afternoon.
The ceremony was the second one at the park since this was the celebration of the completion of Phase II of the project. There is still one more phase to go, according to the water park project director, Wendy Wells. Wells said the official opening of the park now gives the community and visitors a chance to enjoy the facility’s many amenities until the end of August.
Phase 1 was completed late last summer, but now the fun and refreshing waters will be available during the hot and warmer months every summer with the new expanded Phase II version. Phase II includes an expanded lazy river route, a splash pad for smaller children and an additional new water slide.
