Tribal election set for Tuesday
On Tuesday Mandan Hidatsa and Arikara residents of the Fort Berthold Reservation will have the opportunity to re-elect current tribal chairman Marcus Levings or former tribal chairman Tex Hall who is seeking an unprecedented third, four-year term.
The election coincides with North Dakota’s general election. There are a number of races to consider on Tuesday but the tribal chairman’s race is the focus across the reservation.
