A candidate for North Dakota’s Public Service Commission was in Mountrail County last week touring oil impacted areas to see firsthand what residents here have been telling the state for a couple of years.
Brad Crabtree, who lives in Dickey County near Kulm, said he toured the northwest prior to the oil boom and was quite surprised to see all the acticvity going on as he toured the area Monday.
He later stopped at the New Town News to do an interview and ironically, during the entire interview with this Public Service Commission candidate, the power was out.
“The wells and the road impacts; I want to know all about it. I want to get a real good feel for it,” Crabtree said. “There are two reasons for me stopping in New Town. I’m running a statewide campaign and these issues appeal to most of North Dakota. And, technology concerns are important to western North Dakota.”
