Paschall joins Fort Berthold Extension

There is a new face in the Northern Lights Building with a sweet drawl that speaks of a warmer climate.
Amanda Paschall is the new Family Nutrition Program Extension Agent for the Fort Berthold NDSU Extension office. She replaces Carol Enno. Paschall came to New Town from Tennessee and began work on Feb. 1.
“I will be working with schools and individuals who receive SNAP benefits,” Paschall said. “I want to get to know the community and be known in the community. Going into the schools and educating the youth about healthier lifestyles will put them in a better position for the future. That will be a big project of mine.”
The Extension Service has a number of educational programs to help families learn about and improve their nutrition. Paschall said she is looking forward to sharing these with people in the community.
