MHA Youth are budding scientists
By Logan J. Davis
The Mandan, Hidatsa Arikara Education Department sponsored a highly-successful event last week at the Northern Lights Center in New Town.
The MHA Nation Science Fair had many great projects with a lot of proud participants. MHA Education Department Director Amy Mossett indicated that more than 100 students entered more than 60 quality science projects.
The judges were impressed with all of the projects Mossett said and the students were very happy. Mossett was grateful for all of the students who put so much work and creativity into each of their projects. She was also thankful for the instructors and mentors who helped the students develop great science project entrants.
The MHA Education Department staff members worked hard and in great coordination to achieve the success of the event, Mossett said. Students from New Town, Parshall, Mandaree, Twin Buttes and White Shield participated in the science fair.
