Man charged in New Town murder
A 20 year old man has appeared in court for the murder of a former marine in New Town.
According to an Associated Press report, Waylon Hicks appeared in court in Bismarck where he is facing a charge of second degree murder. Hicks was not required to enter a plea at the hearing. A preliminary hearing for Hick has not been scheduled.
Hick is accused of killing Jeremiah Sage, 30, of Halliday. According to Sage’s obituary, he was a former Marine who served two tours in Iraq. He was employed by the TERO agency of the Three Affiliated Tribes.
