Little Shell: Another successful year

It was another successful year for the Antelope Society Little Shell Celebration. The annual powwow held at the Antelope Society Little Shell Arbor south of the Four Bears Casino went “very well,” according to director Jesse Baker.
32 vendors, who sold different kinds of food and homemade wares, were in attendance, and Baker estimated that over 3,000 people turned out for the celebration on Saturday and Sunday nights. Dancers registered for competition numbered 226, though many others came out just to dance and didn’t register.
Baker said that the events on Saturday night were broadcast live over the BEK Sports Network.
