Edgewater holds membership drive

Last year wasn’t the best year for golf in New Town as much of the course was under construction as a new irrigation was installed. But, says Amy Baker, the Edgewater Country Club will be ready and open for business in just a few weeks, and the golf club is actively recruiting new members to enjoy the new facilities.
"The old irrigation was installed when the course was build back sometime in the 1970s," Baker said. "So it was time for an upgrade. With the new sprinklers and everything it should be in beautiful condition this year and just a joy to play."
