Eagles fly high at MHA Science Fair
New Town Middle School students participated in the MHA Nation Science Fair on January 7.
The science fair was hosted and organized by the MHA Nation Tribal Education Department, which is led by Ruth Swaney. The event was held at the Northern Lights Wellness Center. Students from local communities in grades 3 through 12 were invited to participate.
A sack lunch was provided to participants and an awards ceremony followed. New Town Middle School students are supported through the annual science fair season by Camarilla Hunter, STEM Academy Teacher and Kaitlyn Berwick, NTMS Science Teacher.
