New Town School request 3 building permits

There’s no doubt there is a lot of construction activity going on locally and in the last New Town City Council meeting, three building permits were OK’d for $1.29 million.
All three are New Town Public School District permits, but they represent an important gauge in the continuation of building in this community, according to Mayor Dan Uran.
In one of the permit applications in which a 6-plex apartment unit will be built for teachers, the cost of construction is estimated to be $1.2 million. The permit fee for that job alone was $6,000. CA Contracting is the general contractor.
