5 people said to be rescued

Moderate to heavy chop Sunday on Lake Sakakawea caused a boat to capsize but few details of the accident were available at press time.
Apparently five people were on a boat that went down near Van Hook, according to Mountrail County Sheriff Ken Halvorson. He said a woman and child were picked up by other boaters and three men who were clinging to a cooler were rescued by members of the Parshall Fire Department.
Apparently, nobody was injured.
Rumors early in the week suggested the child was less than a year old, and that the woman and child swam to a nearby island, but Halvorson nor Bob Timian an enforcement agent with the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, could confirm that information.
