4 Bears powwow begins today

The 4 Bears Casino and Lodge Labor Day Powwow is set for this weekend with a full slate of activities.
The powwow begins today and runs through Sunday. Prize money in numerous categories will be available throughout the weekend as organizers are expecting decent crowds.
Grand entries will take place tonight at 7 p.m., Saturday at 1 and 7 p.m. and again on Sunday at 1 p.m.VFW Post 9061 in Mandaree, Myron B. Johnson/Nathan Good Iron American Legion Post 271 in Mandaree and Young Hawk Bear Post 253 in White Shield will take part in the color guard activities.
Some of the specials for the weekend include: men’s and women’s golden age, men’s traditional, grass, fancy, southern straight and chicken, women’s traditional, fancy, jingle, shawl, southern buckskin and No/So cloth, teen girls traditional, fancy and jingle, teen boys traditional, grass and fancy and junior girls traditional, jingle, fancy and junior boys traditional, jingle
