Stars of Parshall in living color

By Logan J. Davis

The seniors of Parshall High School are being honored in special ways this year.
Despite unfortunate restrictions placed upon all communities and schools during the pandemic, Parshall High School staff and administration, along with the Northeast Segment are finding unique ways to honor their graduates. There will be a graduation ceremony on Sunday afternoon in the new high school gym, but on Tuesday, a very special honoring ceremony took place on main street in Parshall. The seniors who were in attendance were all given their own unique satin star quilts with colors that they had picked out individually.
The star quilt and senior awards ceremony took place with seven of the ten graduating seniors participating. Debbie Hosie is one of two student success coordinators who helped out with the event, gave out the senior awards.
Senior awards were given to Valedictorian Lilly Dixon, Salutatorian Alexis Blunck, and Student of the Year awards to Lily Dixon and Journey Celo. A special Citizenship award went to Preston Packineau.
