Spooks galore will haunt Parshall’s Main Street

Ghosts, goblins, spooks of every size and description, witches and warlocks and everything in between will be infesting Parshall’s City Hall next weekend.
The Parshall Resource Center will be hosting a four-day Halloween Celebration from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. nightly from Oct. 28-31. The centerpiece of the celebration will be a haunted house that will provide chills and thrills to young and old alike.
“The PRC has hosted a haunted house for the last five years,” said Patty Smith. “We provide a space inside the city hall that is “haunted” by volunteers from the community. We like to make it scary and enjoyable.”
The haunted house will be open every day of the celebration, but each evening will also have other events to entertain. Smith said many community organizations are involved in organizing the weekend’s events. Entry into each event is $3, but Octoberfest buttons are for sale for $5 at the Parshall Resource Center that will get the owner three free admissions to the weekend’s events.
“The Boys and Girls Club hosts the Halloween Carnival,” Smith said. “The High School is going to hold the lock-in. The Powwow hosts the Halloween Masquerade.”
Friday night, Leo Lockwood will emcee Karoke and there will be a dance. There will be a potato dance contest with cash prizes up to $100 for the top three finishers.
