So long, old friend
It was the end of the road for the second high school built in Parshall. The 1961 building had a number of structural issues due to being built on unstable soils along with the normal problems of trying to maintain a 60 year old building. A new high school was built just north of the old building and classes began there in January. After a week or two of asbestos abatement, demolition began in earnest and sixty years of memories were rubble by the end of the day. Photo by Jerry W. Kram
