The law enforcement team at MHA Drug Enforcement team is excited about its brand new opportunity to get a new cell phone application into the hands of the public cell phone users. The application is a new tool that will enlist the public to aid them in gathering information to combat ongoing drug trafficking problems.
The new app materialized through collaboration between MHA Drug Enforcement and Dr. Monica Meyer at the North Segment office. Meyer wrote the grant and has worked closely with the Drug Enforcement team for planning and execution of the new technology. She was not available for comment.
Britnee White, Administrator of the drug enforcement program, thinks there is value both in the partnership and the application.
