The Healing Horse Ranch near Parshall attracted many team ropers and their fans recently. It was a great day for roping and to be out of the bitter cold. Several great teams were vying for the prizes that included money and eight saddle racks with the Healing Horse Ranch logo on them. Jim Baker, one of the ranch managers was pleased at the turnout at the roping last Saturday.
The Healing Horse Ranch is a spacious little piece of heaven for anyone who loves horses, the healing therapy of just riding and the exhilarating exercise riding gives you. That is not counting the calming spirit that comes with being connected to a horse. The unique and wonderful ranch is indeed considered a true center for healing for several reasons. Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College administration and instructors understand how important equine therapy can be for their students. The local tribal college offers a class for credit in horse equine.
