Reward offered for info on vehicle thefts

A $2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the theft of five pickups over two days at the end of May.
The first pickup was stolen about 1:30 a.m., May 30, from a farm north of the Scenic 23 on North Dakota Highway 8. The thieves forced open a walk-in door of a locked garage and taken a pickup.
The next night, the thieves struck again, taking pickups from Makoti, New Town and two from Plaza. Some of the vehicles were found a few days later, two in McKenzie County, one south of New Town and one southeast of New Town. Tools and other valuables were stolen out of the trucks.
