Regional magazine recognizes Jaeger as outstanding young professional By MARVIN BAKER A Parshall woman has been recognized in the 40 under 40 list of young professionals by regional magazine Prairie Business. Kristin Jaeger, the marketing manager for Reservation Telephone Cooperative in Parshall, was instrumental in creating NW Link, a local group of young professionals in Mountrail County affiliated with the North Dakota Young Professionals Network. She is also secretary for the Parshall Promoters and is on the planning committee for the Bite the Ice on ‘the Hook" Ice Fishing Tournament. "Jaeger encompasses extensive business success in addition to civic leadership," the judges wrote. "Kristin highlights business individuals providing leadership in the region." She said she is flattered by the recognition, and is included with young professionals from as close as Minot and Killdeer and as far away as Pierre and Sioux Falls, S.D., and Bemidji and Warroad, Minn. "I feel it’s important to be involved in the community and I am thankful for the members of the group that I’m in because they make it fun," Jaeger said. "There are many people in the area who are very involved and they deserve recognition too." Jaeger is married to Eric Jaeger, who is also active in the Parshall Promoters and Bite the Ice as well as being a member of the Mountrail County Park Board. Kristin earned degrees from South Dakota State University and the University of Mary and is in a group of good company. Kristin Hedger, Killdeer, director of business development and government affairs for Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing, Jarid Lundeen, Minot, operations manager at Tires Plus and Brekka Kramer, Minot, general manager of Odney Advertising, are also named in the group that is in the December edition of Prairie Business, a publication of the Grand Forks Herald.
