Public COVID testing scheduled

By Jerry W. Kram

Residents of Parshall, New Town and Four Bears will be able to be tested for the virus that causes COVID-19 on Monday, July 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New Town Firehall.
Testing will also be held in White Shield, Mandaree and Twin Buttes later in July.
Testing will be open to the public in New Town on Monday. Participants are asked to provide a reliable phone number as the North Dakota Department of Health will only make one phone call to relay results. Due to medical privacy laws, the department cannot leave a phone message giving the results.
Getting a sample for testing typically takes less than 15 minutes, however wait times could be longer because of high demand.
