Promoters showcase bigger than ever
By Jerry W. Kram
The Parshall Promoters pulled of another very successful event Saturday, hosting 82 vendors selling everything from pie-in-a-jar to quilts to housewares to cabinetry at the 2019 Parshall Community Fall Vendor Showcase.
The Parshall High School Gymnasium was literally filled to overflowing with crafters in wood, yarn, fabric and food and home businesses ranging from candles and fragrances to kitchenware to jewelry.
“We sold every spot in the gym, all 81,” said Carol Zacher, who headed up the event for the Promoters. “We even had one on the outside of the gym so that was one plus 81 for 82. We had many returning vendors and several new ones.”
Zacher said from all reports there were a steady stream of buyers throughout the day.
“A lot of vendors said the day was great,” Zacher said. “There were a couple said it was a little slower than last year, but Cindy (Williamson) was sitting at the door to get registered and said there were a ton of people who went through. It was a good day, maybe not the biggest crowd we ever had but it was close.”
