Plaza bulls buck for big bucks

There was a lot of activity around the town square in Plaza on the second day of its 113th annual anniversary celebration.
Things started off as community members gathered for the Bangen Moen Legion breakfast and community church service.
After that, the energy ramped up with the Plaza Community Club sponsored annual Buckin’ in the Baaken Bull riding event which seems to grow more popular each year. Spectators filled the stands to watch as riders mounted their beefy challengers that created exciting and even jaw dropping moments. Once again, Abrahamson Rodeos provided the rodeo style equipment and everything else to attract the most daring bull riders.
The event kicked off with the kid’s mutton bustin’ which is said to be a big crowd pleaser as well wishers cheered on the youthful wooly wranglers.
