Spring blood drive sets new mark
By Jerry W. Kram
There was a record bloodletting in the Parshall High School Gymnasium on April 19, and people couldn’t be happier about it.
The school’s FCCLA club helped organize the biannual blood drive held at the school and managed to turn out a record number of donors, according to club adviser Ruth Zacher. Blood drives are held at the school every spring and fall.
“We had a full waiting list this year,” Zacher said. “That was more people who came to donate blood in the six years I’ve been here. Blood drives go over really well in Parshall.”
