Parshall summer blood drive set for Tuesday

Rich Larcombe wants to mix it up a bit and is expecting results not seen before during the dog days of summer.
Larcombe, the manager of United Blood Services in Minot, has announced a community blood drive in Parshall Tuesday. He is hoping the community comes through like it has often done to save someone’s life.
“This is especially important because it is being held during the summer,” Larcombe said. “Participation drops off drastically at summer blood drives.”
Instead of seeing weak numbers, Larcombe is getting the word out any way he can to get people interested first, then dropping by the Parshall High School gym on Tuesday to give blood.
