Parshall RV Park officially open

Parshall will see a slight easing of its housing crunch as a new RV Park is opening on North Dakota Highway 37.
The Parshall RV Park officially opened this week, said Chad Caillier. He is the operating partner with Mike Larson and Jim Glenn of West Fargo. The three men own a large RV dealership in West Fargo and another RV Park in Minnesota.
“We sell a lot of product that goes out west and we thought this would be a good fit for our business,” Caillier said.
The partnership has moved quickly to get the park built after securing the property in September. Work on the site began in March.
“Other than the rain last week, things have been pretty seamless,” Caillier said. “We lost a few days because the contractor was pumping the trenches out after the rain. That pushed everything out three or four days, but that’s all right.”
The park will have 114 RV spots and a 600 square foot commercial build that will contain washing machines, showers, a small kitchen, vending machines and five shop bays. The shop bays will have 16 foot doors, floor drains and electric heat.
