Parshall Resource Center to get new home in 2015

With groundbreaking of the site completed earlier this summer, staff at the Parshall Resource Center is ready to take its next big step toward construction of a new $1.3 million facility in Parshall. The Three Affiliated Tribes is funding the project which is expected to be completed by spring of 2015. Construction is expected to begin in this month.

According to Sandy Folden, Program Director, some demolition will occur to an older part of the existing building. The new building will include improved dorm rooms and larger meeting areas. First Dakota Enterprises, a Pierre, S.D., based company, was chosen for construction of the facility. Lon Burr is the TAT Project Coordinator. JLG Architects in Minot created the building design.

The expansion will allow the center to "greatly improve" delivery of services to clients. With a larger population in western North Dakota these days, the need for services has grown with it.
